The Product Features and Details seem to be switched on these two. At least this is my assumption; check them both out and you will probably agree.For instance, the larger one is probably the one that is 20" tall, and the smaller one 8.6" tall. Because it is a lower wattage, I do have it plugged into an extension cord, and have not noticed any weird behavior. Both the heater plug and extension cord plug are cool to the touch after two hours of running the machine, which is about all I ever run it for anyway. The back, sides and bottom of the machine also say cool to the touch (at least on the low setting), which puts me at ease having is only 1ft from the wall in a corner of my little room. It is also quiet enough that I can watch TV and listen to music at pretty conservative volumes (I have roommates and like to watch TV in bed at night w/ this heater running). Cons: I was just looking at the unit and noticed the sticker on the bottom says the wattage is 800W/1200W... Read more |
