For the price this is a great deal.First and foremost: I did a lot of research and browsing both on and off of Amazon to find out safety concerns regarding space heaters. As many of you may see if you've been browsing other units, people complain that some units become very hot, as well as their plugs/cords, and that they pose a fire hazard. For this reason I did my research and not only does this unit have a tilt shut off (unit needs to be flat on the ground, if lifted it will auto shut) it also has a feature that if it overheats the unit will also shut off. These are both great features, I'm all about safety first. Aside from these features, the heater works great for me. It's small, easy to use and quickly heats up my fairly-large family room. The room is build on a slab, so it is drafty and cold. This does the trick. In fact, if I leave it on for a couple of hours, it heats the entire first floor of my colonial house.
